Your First 24 Hours with StudioClaw

15 steps to go from "just signed up" to "how did I live without this." Each one makes your agent smarter.

⏱️ Total time: ~45 minutes (spread over 24h)
Minutes 0–5
First Contact
1
Say hello
30 seconds

Open your dashboard and type anything. Your agent is already running. No setup wizard, no API keys, no config files.

You: Hey, what can you do?
Agent: I'm your personal AI agent running on StudioClaw. I can read files, search the web, manage your email, calendar, smart home, and much more. What would you like to tackle first?
💡 Pro tip: Your agent remembers context within a session. The more you talk, the better it gets at helping you.
2
Connect a messaging channel
2 minutes

The webchat works, but the real magic is connecting Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, or Signal. Then your agent is wherever you are — on your phone, at your desk, everywhere.

  • Go to Settings → Channels in your dashboard
  • Pick your platform (Telegram is the easiest)
  • Follow the 3-step setup (create bot → paste token → done)
  • Send your first message from your phone
✅ Result: Your agent is now in your pocket. Message it from anywhere, anytime. No limits.
3
Tell it about yourself
2 minutes

Your agent has a memory system. Tell it who you are, what you do, and what matters to you. It writes this down and remembers it forever.

You: I'm Sarah, I run a marketing agency in Austin. I work with 5 clients and I'm always behind on email. My timezone is Central.
Agent: Got it, Sarah! I've saved your details. I'll keep your timezone in mind for scheduling and can help you triage email. Want me to check your inbox?
💡 Why this matters: Unlike ChatGPT, your agent persists. It learns your preferences, your tools, your workflow. After a week, it feels like it's known you for months.

Hour 1
Wire Up Your Life
4
Connect Google Workspace
3 minutes

Link your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Drive. Your agent can then read emails, schedule meetings, find documents, and draft replies — all through natural conversation.

  • Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Workspace
  • Click "Connect" and authorize with your Google account
  • Grant email + calendar + drive permissions
You: Check my email for anything urgent
Agent: You have 23 unread emails. 3 need attention:
1. 🔴 Client invoice overdue — from Acme Corp (2 hours ago)
2. 🟡 Meeting reschedule request — from Jamie (5 hours ago)
3. 🟡 Contract review needed — from legal@... (yesterday)
Want me to draft replies?
5
Ask it something you'd normally Google
1 minute

Your agent has web search built in. But unlike Google, it reads the results, synthesizes them, and gives you an actual answer.

You: What's the best CRM for a 5-person agency in 2026?
Agent: Based on current reviews and your agency size, here are the top 3:

1. HubSpot Free — best if you want $0/mo with contact management + email tracking
2. Attio — best if you want modern UX + custom objects
3. Pipedrive — best if you're deal-flow focused ($14/user/mo)

Given you have 5 clients and care about email, I'd lean toward Attio. Want me to compare their pricing in detail?
💡 No limits: On ChatGPT, you'd hit your message cap mid-research. Here? Ask 50 follow-ups. Dig deep. That's the whole point.
6
Give it a file to analyze
2 minutes

Drop a PDF, spreadsheet, or document into the chat. Your agent reads the whole thing — not just the first page.

You: [uploads Q4-report.pdf]
You: Summarize this and highlight anything I should worry about
Agent: 📊 Summary of Q4 Report (47 pages):

Revenue: $342K (+12% QoQ) — on target
Expenses: $298K (+23% QoQ) — ⚠️ growing faster than revenue
Biggest cost increase: Contractor spend up 40% ($84K → $118K)
Cash runway: 8.2 months at current burn

🔴 Flag: If contractor costs grow another quarter at this rate, you'll be cash-negative by August. Want me to model some scenarios?
7
Set up a scheduled check-in
1 minute

Your agent can run on a schedule — checking email, summarizing news, monitoring anything. Set up a morning briefing.

You: Every morning at 7 AM, check my email and calendar, then send me a summary of my day
Agent: Done! I've set up a daily 7 AM briefing. Each morning I'll check your inbox for urgent emails, review your calendar, and message you a day summary. You'll get it right to your Telegram.
✅ Result: You now have a personal chief of staff that briefs you every morning. This alone is worth the subscription.
🚀
Hours 2–6
Put It to Work
8
Delegate a real task
5 minutes

Stop testing. Give it something real from your actual to-do list. The kind of thing that takes you 30-60 minutes manually.

  • "Draft a proposal for [client] based on our last call"
  • "Research the top 10 competitors in [space] and summarize their pricing"
  • "Write a blog post about [topic] in my brand voice"
  • "Analyze this spreadsheet and create a summary report"
  • "Go through my last 50 emails and categorize them by urgency"
💡 This is the aha moment. When your agent completes a real task in 2 minutes that would've taken you an hour, the unlimited pricing suddenly makes a lot of sense.
9
Have a long conversation
10+ minutes

On ChatGPT Plus, you'd be watching the rate limit by now. Here, go deep. Brainstorm for 30 minutes. Ask 50 questions. Iterate on a document through 10 drafts. This is what unlimited feels like.

✅ The test: Use your agent heavily for 2 straight hours. Notice that it never says "you've reached your limit." Notice that you never have to choose between this question and saving messages for later. That's the product.
10
Explore skills
5 minutes

Your agent comes with 30+ skills pre-installed — from web scraping to smart home control to GitHub to Google Ads management. Ask it what it can do.

You: What skills do you have?
Agent: Here's what I can do:
📧 Email — read, reply, draft, search (Gmail)
📅 Calendar — events, scheduling, reminders
🔍 Web — search, scrape, fetch pages
💻 Code — write, review, debug, deploy
📊 Data — analyze spreadsheets, PDFs, documents
🏠 Smart Home — Hue lights, Sonos speakers
🐙 GitHub — issues, PRs, code review
📝 Notes — Apple Notes, Notion, Things 3
🌤️ Weather — forecasts, alerts
...and 20+ more. What interests you?
11
Try voice or images
2 minutes

Send a voice note or an image. Your agent can transcribe audio, analyze screenshots, read documents from photos, and even generate images.

You: [sends photo of whiteboard]
You: Turn this into a structured project plan
Agent: I can see a whiteboard with 4 columns (Ideas, In Progress, Review, Done) and sticky notes. Here's the structured plan:

Project: Q1 Campaign Launch
Phase 1: Research (3 tasks) — Due Feb 28
Phase 2: Creative (4 tasks) — Due Mar 7
Phase 3: Launch (2 tasks) — Due Mar 14
Phase 4: Review (1 task) — Due Mar 21

Want me to add these to your project management tool?
🏗️
Hours 6–12
Build Your Workflow
12
Create a custom workflow
5 minutes

Combine multiple steps into an automated workflow. Your agent can chain actions together and run them on schedule.

You: Every Friday at 4 PM, pull my team's GitHub PRs from this week, summarize what shipped, draft a "weekly wins" email, and send it to the team Slack
Agent: Set up! Every Friday at 4 PM I'll:
1. Pull merged PRs from your org's repos
2. Summarize changes by team member
3. Draft a "Weekly Wins" update
4. Post to #team-updates in Slack

Want me to do a test run now?
💡 Think about this: You just replaced a 45-minute Friday task with a one-sentence instruction. Your agent does this every week, forever. No limits.
13
Personalize your agent
5 minutes

Your agent has a SOUL.md file that defines its personality. You can make it formal, casual, technical, creative — whatever fits your style.

You: I want you to be more casual and use emoji sometimes. Also, call me boss.
Agent: Updated my personality, boss! 🫡 I'll keep things casual and throw in the occasional emoji. Anything else you want me to change about how I communicate?
🌟
Hours 12–24
Level Up
14
Let it work while you sleep
2 minutes

Before bed, give your agent an overnight task. When you wake up, the work is done.

You: While I sleep, research the top 20 SaaS companies in the HR tech space. For each one, get their pricing, founding year, estimated revenue, and main differentiator. Put it in a table.
Agent: On it! I'll research all 20 and have a complete competitive analysis ready by morning. Sleep well! 🌙
--- 7 hours later ---
Agent: Good morning! ☀️ Your HR tech competitive analysis is ready. 20 companies researched with full pricing, revenue estimates, and differentiators. Here's the summary table...
✅ This is the superpower. Your agent runs 24/7. It doesn't sleep. It doesn't cost extra for overnight work. Every morning, you wake up ahead.
15
Tell a friend
1 minute

If you've made it this far, you've probably had at least one "holy shit" moment. Share it. Screenshot your favorite interaction. Tell someone who'd benefit.

💡 The best marketing is a happy user. If StudioClaw saved you time today, we'd love for you to share the experience. And if something wasn't great — tell us. We're a small team and we fix things fast.

24 Hours In. What's Changed?

If you followed the playbook, you now have an AI agent that knows you, works for you, and never stops.
